Is it OK to date a 12 years old?

There’s no one age when people “should” start dating — plenty of people don’t start until their late teens or after, and some people start earlier. At 12, going out in groups is a lot more common — and can probably be a lot easier and more fun, too — than going out with just one other person on a DATE-date.

And what age is appropriate? The American Academy of Pediatrics notes that on average, girls begin dating as early as 12 and a half years old, and boys a year older.

Can a 9 and 13 year old date?

No it’s not okay. A 9 year old is still considered a young child. A 13 year old is considered a teenager even though a very young teen. There is a big difference between a 9 year old and a 13 year old.

No. It is not illegal for a 13 and 17 year old to date.

There is no law about when children can be allowed to date; however there are many laws regarding who children can date and what children can do with whom they date. Some states have laws that prohibit a 10 year old from dating a 13 year old. Others allow children, of any age, to not only date, but to also get married.

No. Your grandson and the 13 year old are both too young to give legal consent to ANY sexual activity. This includes fondling with clothes on.

IMO, the answer is no. one: Legally, in the USA at least, the age of consent is 16 at minimum. That wasn’t true in the Old West, but it’s true now. A 21 year-old who has sex with a 15 year-old could easily get arrested for statutory rape.

Is 16 and 18 a weird age gap?

Is it okay for a 16 yo to DATE an 18 yo? Yes it is perfectly legal to date. Nothing in the question infered sex. People need to get it through their heads that just because you went to a movie together or had dinner together it doesnt entitle anything sexual.

It is perfectly okay for a 20 yr old to find a 15 yr old attractive, intelligent, interesting and sexy. There is nothing wrong with that. This is instinctive and what everyone is trying to do is to stifle natural and normal biological behaviour.
